Kava root helps to alleviate stress, especially when accompanied by anxiety and tension. This herb has been used for centuries in the South Pacific as a relaxant and sedative. Menopausal patients may take it to aid sleep and reduce anxiety.

Helonias-Viburnum Compound is used to treat a broad array of gynecological problems, including uterine weakness, menstrual problems and infertility. In addition, it is an effective prenatal and birthing tonic, and helps facilitate the sexual transitions experienced during puberty and menopause. It tones the bladder, uterus and ovaries, and as such may be used in combination with hormone balancing herbs as Chase Tree, Black Cohosh-Licorice Compound, and/or Pulsatilla-Chase Tree Compound.
St. John's Wort is helpful in mild depression. It may take several weeks to provide results, so if you have a tendency toward seasonal depression, start taking it early. This is particularly true is you are sensitive to the reduced sunlight hours of winter. St. John's Wort is comparable to tricyclic antidepressants in reducing mild to moderate depressive symptoms. It has no known contraindications and few adverse effects. If you experience depression that seems overwhelming, or out of control, seek help from a qualified healthcare practitioner.
Estrogen Enhancing Formula (Black Cohosh-Licorice Compound) is best used to treat estrogen deficiency. Conditions indicative of estrogen deficiency may include delayed appearance of secondary sexual characteristics, delayed menstrual periods, breast engorgement after delivery or menopausal symptoms.
Tonic for Menopausal Women (Pulsatilla-Vitex Compound) helps to restore the normal estrogen/progesterone levels in the body. Valerian-Passion Flower Compound is a gentle but effective sedative, which is soothing and quieting to the nervous system. It is not narcotic, nor does it create any sense of being "drugged." It is indicated in nervous excitement and hysteria, mental depression, nervous headache, and in nervousness associated with menopause. It is also specific for insomnia, as it allows the person to relax into a restful sleep and awaken fully refreshed.
Gotu Kola-Ginkgo Compound containing Ginkgo leaf has been shown to significantly improve the overall metabolism of the brain, increasing the oxygen supply to the brain, and facilitating the elimination of metabolic waste products.
